Consign

By consigning, you earn 70% of the selling price minus a $10 consignor fee. Register as a consignor, tag your items, and bring them to the sale on your scheduled drop off day and time. If you wish for us to tag your items, call us at (913) 390-1995 for more information. You may also stop by the Angel Babies store at 2085 E Santa Fe Street in Olathe. [Top]

Items to Sell

Most kid-related and mom items may be sold at our sale. Here is a list of suggested items.

  • Children, Teens, Maternity and Women’s
    • Clothing – New and Gently Used (No Stains)
    • Halloween Costumes
    • Accessories – Hairbows, Scarves, Women’s Purses
    • Coats, Gloves, Boots
    • Dress Up Clothing
    • Dance Apparel
    • Uniforms – Scouts, School Uniforms
    • Shoes/Boots – Only new or like-new footwear will be accepted
  • Toys, Games, Books, & Electronics
    • Children’s books/CD’s, Videos, DVD’s
    • Puzzles & Board Games - Must have all pieces (you may use plastic wrap to keep the boxes closed, then tape together)
    • Game Systems & Games
    • Play gyms, kitchens, doll houses, toy sets
    • Riding toys, bikes, wagons, etc.
    • Electronic toys must have working batteries included. You may purchase batteries at cost from us when you arrive.

All children’s toys small to large must be clean and have all the pieces. No Stuffed animals, unless they are battery operated. [Top]

  • Baby Equipment & Accessories
    • High chairs, pack n plays, strollers, swings, exersaucers, bouncy chairs, feeding chairs, Bumbo’s.
    • Blankets, bibs, slings, carriers, socks, crib sheets
    • Car Seats – Only seats 5 years or newer
  • Furniture & Bedding
    • No cribs
    • Toddler beds, cradles, bassinets must meet current safety standards and be in like-new condition
    • Dressers, changing tables, bookcases, rockers
    • Mobiles and lamps
    • Kids table and chairs
    • Mommy gear
    • Baby monitors, diaper bags

Tips for Preparing Your Items

Clothing must be clean, stain-free, and in gently-used condition. Supplies needed include wire hangers, white cardstock paper, safety pins, plastic ziplock bags, tagging gun and fasteners. You may purchase these items from Angel Babies. Call us at (913) 390-1995.

Fall & Winter Clothing Accepted. Swimsuits and athletic shorts may be sold since they are needed year-round.

Fasten the price tag in the seam under the right arm of shirts and the front right waist of all pants and skirts. All clothing must be on wire hangers and pinned to the hanger. Hang all clothing items with hanger hook facing left. [Top]

Drop Off & Pick Up

When you arrive, here is what to expect:

  • You will sign a Consignor Agreement and verify your contact information and email address.
  • A volunteer will check over your items for stains, cleanliness, in working order, etc.
  • Please don’t be offended if we refuse an item.
  • Once your items have been inspected, you will then put them out on the sales floor.
  • Please allow 45 minutes for drop-off.

Before you drop off, please double-check the following:

  • All clothing items are on wire hangers.
  • All items are hung with hook facing left.
  • All tags are printed on white cardstock paper.
  • All items have tags with barcodes.
  • Sort clothing items by gender and size for faster drop off.
  • Small pieces of toys are securely packaged in a plastic bag (zipclock sandwich bags work great) and tag is securely taped to the item. Do not tape over barcodes.
  • Toys should be in working order with batteries in them.
  • Clean, freshly laundered, and pressed clothing items always sell better!

Pick Up Time

Items not claimed by the end of Pick Up time will be donated to Angel Babies. [Top]
